Comments:

I started at Nunthorpe in 1959. My base classroom was in the new block. It had 5 classrooms, the Art room and the Physics labs upstairs. My form master was Mungo Park. I met him 12 years after I left. I bought him a pint at the Fox in Dringhouses. The master in the class nearest the entrance was Greasy Graham. He was a great linguist but not so good as a teacher. Leaving in 1963 wasn't a complete break as my lecturer at York Tech was Vincent Cable's dad. (Michael Johnson 30/03/2021)
